Centipede Turf is not recommended for lawncare due to its slow growth rate and its difficulty in establishing. It is also highly susceptible to diseases and pests, requiring more maintenance than other turfgrasses.
Steps to Properly Install Sod
Step 1
Apply a commercial vegetation killer & allow it to sit for approximately 2 weeks. This allows ample time to kill existing vegetation.
Step 2
Sod cut and remove old lawn 1/2 to 1 1/2 down along with disposing of all debris.
Step 3
Level & grade remaining soil surface removing all low and/or high areas.
Step 4
Supply & install new turf with precision placement with no air gaps.
Step 5
Balance the soil as recommended by the 8 point nutrient test. (priced separately)
